Frequently Asked Questions

Do sessions happen in person?

All sessions are conducted virtually by phone. Clients can work with Jamie from anywhere in the world.

What is this work designed to help with?

Sessions are designed to help identify and shift the underlying patterns that may be affecting how you think, feel, respond, and move forward. Clients often seek support around self-sabotage, overthinking, emotional triggers, confidence, inner resistance, performance pressure, and feeling stuck in recurring patterns.

How is this different from traditional talk therapy?

Traditional talk therapy often focuses on processing thoughts, emotions, and past experiences through conversation over time. Jamie’s work is not therapy and is not a substitute for licensed mental health care. This approach is designed to work more directly with subconscious patterns, conditioned responses, and nervous-system dynamics so clients can create meaningful shifts without feeling like they need to endlessly revisit the past.

Is this therapy or medical treatment?

No. Sessions are not medical care, psychotherapy, or a substitute for licensed psychological or psychiatric treatment. Jamie Harman does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or replace the care of a licensed healthcare professional.

Do I need to believe in this work for it to be valuable?

No. You do not need to approach this work with any particular belief system. Many clients simply come open to the process and focused on the results they want to create. The most helpful starting point is a willingness to be honest about what feels stuck and what you want to shift. Based on your older FAQ, I would keep the openness but remove claims that could sound overly mystical or hard to support.

What kinds of results do people notice?

Many clients report feeling more clear, calm, grounded, and internally steady after a session. Some notice immediate shifts, while others recognize change over time in the way they think, respond, make decisions, and follow through. Results vary, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.

Do I have to talk through every painful detail of my past?

Not necessarily. The work is designed to identify and shift root patterns without requiring you to relive or recount every detail of a past experience. The focus is on what is currently affecting you and what needs to change for you to move forward with greater ease and alignment. This keeps the benefit of your old FAQ while making it sound more refined and credible.

How should I prepare for a session?

Come with a clear intention. It helps to know what feels stuck, what you would like to change, and what outcome you want to create. Once your session is scheduled, you will receive simple instructions for how to prepare.

How quickly will I notice a change?

Some clients notice a shift right away, while others recognize changes more gradually in real-life situations over the days and weeks that follow. Every person and every issue is different. The goal is not just a temporary emotional high, but a meaningful shift that supports lasting change.

Are sessions available worldwide?

Yes. Because all sessions are conducted virtually by phone, clients may participate from anywhere in the world.
